Current Joys is het soloproject van Nick Rattigan, bekend als drummer en zanger van indieband Surf Curse. De Amerikaanse maker schrijft, speelt en regisseert zijn werk zelf. Zijn zevende album ‘Voyager’ combineert kwetsbare teksten met een dromerige lo-fi indiesound. Ook bracht hij het album ‘East My Love’ uit, met mentaal beladen nummers geschreven in afzondering in de bossen van Tennessee.
