CROSSWORDS is het kwintet van altsaxofonist Ben van Gelder en tenorsaxofonist Jasper Blom, twee toonaangevende Nederlandse topsaxofonisten. Het kwintet kenmerkt zich door een transparante bezetting zonder akkoordinstrument, waarin Van Gelders lyrische composities en Bloms onderzoekende muziek elkaar afwisselen. Ben van Gelder staat internationaal bekend om zijn persoonlijke benadering van de altsaxofoon, terwijl Jasper Blom in 2019 de Boy Edgar Prijs won. Het kwintet wordt aangevuld met getalent
