Wat begon als een jazzband is inmiddels uitgegroeid tot iets dat veel groter is dan dat: Snarky Puppy beweegt al ruim twintig jaar buiten alle kaders. Het collectief rond bassist Michael League staat bekend als een internationale kracht die genres samenbrengt en is onmogelijk in een hokje te plaatsen, behalve die van ongeremde muzikaliteit.
