Het Amerikaanse duo MISSIO mengt alternatieve rock, synthpop en andere elektronica tot nummers die tegelijkertijd donker en meezingbaar zijn. Door de koele synths en harde beats doet MISSIO soms denken aan de new wave en industrial uit de jaren tachtig en negentig, al klinkt hun werk door de moderne productie en hiphop-invloeden ook helemaal nu.
