De Braziliaanse zanger Djavan (met Nederlandse roots) viert in 2026 zijn 50-jarige muzikale carrière met zijn zesentwintigste album Improviso (verscheen eind 2025) en een uitgebreide wereldtournee. De sympathieke singer-songwriter staat bekend om zijn elegante mix van samba, jazz en pop en debuteerde in 1976 met het album A Voz, o Violão e a Arte de Djavan, waarop ook zijn eerste hit Flor De Lis staat. Al snel ging Djavans muziek de grenzen over: zijn werk is opgenomen door collega’s als Al Jarr
