Soft Palms is een droompop-project van Julia Kugel en Scott Montoya uit Long Beach. Vanuit hun studio, Centre of Mental Arts (COMA), creëren ze weidse en hypnotiserende soundscapes. Het duo combineert lo-fi-warmte met verfijnde texturen, wat resulteert in een meditatieve en filmische ervaring. Kugel en Montoya, die al jaren samenwerken, nemen hun muziek zelf op, produceren en mixen deze. In 2026 brengt Soft Palms hun meest omvangrijke werk tot nu toe uit, getiteld 'IN ECHO' via Everloving Record
