The Kids vieren in 2026 een halve eeuw punk. Onder leiding van frontman Ludo Mariman heeft de band een indrukwekkend oeuvre opgebouwd van vijf studioalbums en één livealbum, en deelde het podium met iconen als de Sex Pistols. Hun debuutalbum uit 1978 liet een onuitwisbare stempel achter op de punkgeschiedenis, zowel nationaal als internationaal.
